Background Checks

Every potential employee is required to satisfactorily complete a reference and criminal background check. The background check is a condition of employment for all newly hired or rehired staff and faculty members. This is applicable to full-time and part -time staff and faculty members as well as newly hired adjunct faculty and temporary employees of Illinois Tech. The employee is not permitted to start working until the check has been completed.
